Daniela Brissett, MD (she/they) is an Adolescent Medicine Physician, Assistant Professor, and Faculty Scholar based at University of Pittsburgh and CHOP. Her research and interests focus on the intersectionality of racism and sexism, and how this expands to the adultification of Black girls. She prioritizes working with community partnerships that support Black girls, and often supports youth who are criminalized.

Hazel EkekeHazel Ekeke is a community doula, EMT, and nursing student at the University of Pennsylvania. Passionate about reproductive justice and the history of medical harm towards Black people in the U.S., she is working towards becoming a Nurse Midwife and Nurse Ethicist. Her interests lie in examining how healthcare workers can better support people who are incarcerated.
